  • Marina Equestrian Center Open House– Marina
    1-4pm. California and 9th Street
    FREE to the public! FREE activities include: pony rides, a bounce house, face painting, a petting zoo, hay rides and more. Be thrilled during the entertainment packed show including the Marina Equestrian Center Flag Team, the Parade of Horse Breeds featuring a huge one ton Percheron horse all the way down to a miniature horse smaller than a dog and many breeds in between.
  • FREE Smithsonian Magazine Museum DayFREE Admission to Many Museums
    In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, participating museums across the country give free admission to people with a Museum Day Ticket, this ticket is FREE though registration is required (the ticket will be emailed to you). Here are a few of the local museums participating in this event: California Academy of Sciences, Bay Area Discovery Museum, The Contemporary Jewish Museum, Museum of Craft and Folk Art, The National Steinbeck Center and many more.   • Big Basin Founder’s Day
    9am- 8pm. A special event celebrating California’s oldest State Park.

Sunday September 30:

TEAM G'S COOKIES FOR KIDS'S CANCER BAKE SALE

  • Cookies for Cancer Bake Sale– Capitola, Aptos and Scotts Valley
    Help raise money for childhood cancer research and raise much needed awareness
  • Scout Day at Swank Farms– Hollister
    Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms; kids will receive a button for attending
    25% of the proceeds will support local boys and girls scout districts of the Central Coast
  • Harvest Festival- UCSC
    11am-5pm. Adults $5, kids 12 & under and UCSC students FREE
    Live music, lots of food, kid’s activities, hay rides, gardening/cooking workshops, pie eating contest and more. FREE Parking and shuttle available
  • Seaside Crafts– Seymour Center Santa Cruz
    1-3pm
  • San Benito County Fair– San Benito County Fairgrounds
  • Northern California Renaissance Faire– Casa de Fruita
